Nickelodeon has released a teaser trailer for Are you afraid of the dark? Ghost Island, which is the third installment / season of their horror anthology miniseries based on the classy ’90s kids show. It will debut July 30 at 7 p.m. ET / PT with a 2-hour episode with the remaining episodes airing August 6 and 13.
Ghost Island will focus on a brand new Midnight Society as they seek to have a fun summer vacation at an island resort. That is until they learn of something sinister haunting guests. The first episode “The Tale of Room 13 / The Tale of the Teen Spirit” the four best friends find themselves locked in one of the rooms after checking in at the hotel. So while the kids are looking to enjoy the summer vacation, they are drawn into the mystery of the island which will lead them to some terrifying and shocking revelations.
You can briefly check out the kids in the teaser trailer which you can check out below. It’s hard to tell how good something is from the teaser trailers, but this looks like a fun new season of the show.
