No stranger to controversy, Alec Baldwin seems to have no problem with people on the edge of public opinion.
Baldwin announced that abusive director Woody Allen will be logging into his Instagram for a live interview this Tuesday at 10:30am EST.
“It’s coming Tuesday. I’m going to do 28 Instagram Lives,” Baldwin interrupts, pointing to the cover and back of Allen’s latest short comic, then whispering “Woody Allen” into the camera.
“My loved ones. “I love you, Wood,” Baldwin continued.
The actor has worked with Allen in many movies. Alicia (1990), in Rome with love (2012) and jasmine blue (2013).
Allen recently starred in the HBO documentary Kirby Dick and Amy Zirring: against Allen Farrow Kim was investigating allegations of sexual harassment against Allen by his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow.
Baldwin seems to avoid any concerns about Allen’s reputation, stating in his caption that “he has zero interest in anyone’s ideas and sacred messages here” and “he doesn’t care about anyone else’s speculation.”
“If you think a lawsuit should be filed through an HBO documentary, that’s your question,” Baldwin said.
