to the bone
The true story that ‘Hasta el Hueso’ tells is that of its director, Marti Noxon, who brings to the screen the period of his youth when he experienced eating disorders such as anorexia. It tells about his process of accepting and dealing with the situation she faced and also how the environment in which he developed was important to be able to advance in her path.
This production sees Lilly Collins in the lead role of Ellen, who plays Marti Noxon on screen; while Kenu Reeves plays a psychologist who is part of the young woman’s process to treat her eating disorders. Together they give life to this story of accompaniment and empathy for those who live in a situation similar to the one that the director herself saw at a certain point.

The film brings this family’s experience to the screen through the lead roles of Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor and Tom Holland, along with two other child actors. They tell about the Spanish family’s holidays in Thailand and how they survive the tsunami and, moreover, how they manage to reunite after being dragged by the sea and find themselves alone in the midst of the natural disaster.
The boy who harnessed the wind
