Giorgio Miller has recently started production Mad Max: Furious and some photos from the set surfaced recently. These photos feature some Mad Max-style vehicles, including a modified car and some post-apocalyptic bikers. Another image shows a massive medieval-style door. You can check out those photos below!

Furious stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth And Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Taylor-Joy will play the lead role, a younger version of Furiosa, and Hemsworth will play a character named Dementus, the story’s villain. This is going to be another crazy and epic Miller movie!
The director recently talked about the film, saying, “I’ll tell you how it’s going when it’s finished, but it started off well. All I can say about my excitement in doing it is that it’s definitely exciting, because even though it’s certainly from that world of. Road of Fury, it also has many of the differences we talked about. Again, it’s extraordinarily familiar. And probably the biggest difference is the time frame. Road of Fury it happened in three days and two nights and this happens in 15 years. So, it’s a saga. “
Taylor-Joy also spoke earlier about taking on the role of Furiosa, saying, “The first thing that crossed my mind when I found out I was going to do this was, ‘I’m so excited to be working so hard.’ The level of commitment that has been shown before me, I strive to match, and that makes me really excited. I fell in love with Furiosa, the way Charlize presented her. She did such an amazing job and it was like that. nice and I can’t even think of trying to take a step [into her shoes]. It has to be something different, because it can’t be done. “
Speaking earlier about Furiosa, Miller hinted that the backstory is what he would like to explore: “Yeah, he’s a pretty compelling character, so it would be great to tell his story. His backstory is really interesting. because this movie is on the run; people don’t have much time for recreational chatter. But you understand, you get the feeling that she’s been through stuff. That’s what the movie is trying to do. Put a lot of icebergs under the tip, I like to say. One of the things that is really rewarding, people are reading the film more than just the surface: the events of the film, and they just collect a lot of stuff underneath it, which is very intentional … So , in many ways, audiences are collecting a lot about Furiosa, or enough to intrigue. And it has an interesting story. “
Mad Max: Furious will be released in theaters on May 24, 2024.
