Saban Films has released the trailer for Exit protocolwhose title sounds like a ’90s direct-to-video action movie you’d see on the Blockbuster video shelf.
Directed by Shane Dax Taylor, the film brings together a cast led by Scott Martin and action legend Dolph Lundgrennext to Charlotte Kirk, Lina Maya, Stefania BeranAND Michael Jai White.
The story follows a notorious hitman who makes a living by hunting down other killers but wants out of the game. Of course, retirement isn’t on the table, and once sentenced to death, he’s forced to forge an uneasy alliance with a former target just to survive.
The film will be released in select theaters, VOD and digital on November 7, 2025, and the trailer teases a gritty throwback to the kind of no-frills shootouts and action double-crosses that fans crave.
It seems that Taylor’s film leans into the classic killer-on-the-run setup. It’s pure B-movie DNA.
