Peacemaker episode 7 shakes Earth-X with shocking twists and Chris faces his darkest moment

The second at the last chapter of Pacifier Season 2, entitled “Like a Keith in the night”, releases spectators in the chaos of Earth-X and pushes the story in an even darker and more unpredictable territory.

What begins as an absurdly fun gag on Chris overlooking the obvious signs of a world controlled by the Nazis quickly turns into shocking clashes, emotional confessions and a ending that leaves fans stunned.

The episode begins with Chris who finally realizes what should have been clear from the beginning, that Earth-X is managed by the Nazis. From Mein Kampf sitting on each desk to a huge Hitler mural to Argus, the clues were everywhere.

Once the Penny falls, Chris and Harcourt go on the run, while Adebayo finds himself saved in an electrifying way by Judomaster.

In the meantime, Auggie tells Keith that Chris who know could already be dead. He reveals that he once met the doppelganger of his son, describing him as “cruel and probably from a much darker world than their”.

Blue Dragon and Captain Triumph adapt while Economos tries to gather Eagley for a jailbreak. On the road, Adebayo and Judomaster share a reassuring moment, noting that their land is not so different from this.

Just when it seems that Peacemaker and Harcurt are put on the corner, Auggie and Keith come brutally, shooting their enemies and forcing Chris to go with them if he wants to survive.

Elsewhere, Rick Flag Sr. and Sasha Bordeaux enlisted Sydney Happer by Superman, who explains that this dimensional portal is much safer than the version of Lex Luthor.

Rick clearly plans to keep close to Sydney, which could write problems later. Back with Auggie, Chris opens up why he does what he does, admitting that he just wanted to feel as if he had a family.

Surprisingly, Auggie listens, saying that their Chris was “out of control” and even believes in the history of this peacemaker to have killed his son by chance.

But things become only more bloody. An alternative Larry Fitzgibbon is knocked, suspicious of what is happening, but Auggie sends him away. Auggie then says to Harcourt that he is not a Nazi and cannot fight every injustice, but is determined to try to improve his world. It is a strong moment of clarity and hope until the vigilant stabs of Blue Dragon to death, cutting it short.

That brutal act unleashes another fire clash, and Keith lashes Chris, blaming him for the destruction of his world. Peacemaker breaks, admitting with tears to the eyes: “It is not his world or theirs that is wrong; it is he, because he destroys everything he touches”. So far it is one of the most devastating moments of the series.

The episode approaches its climax with Harcourt unable to finish the captain Triumph while the cops approach. Keith is taken away in an ambulance, while Chris and the others return to their world only to find Flag Sr. and Argus waiting with the drawn guns.

In a heartbreaking move, Peacemaker assumes full responsibility for everything that happened with the quc. He is arrested, while his friends are freed.

Broken, betrayed and persecuted by what has gone to Earth-X, Chris ends the episode in the lowest place we have ever seen. With the ending just a week later, the fans are left to wonder if Peacemaker can find the redemption after this, or is his story destined to end up in the tragedy?
