THE X-Men I am finally traveling to the Marvel film universe and with their long -awaited debut comes the question that every fan wants to answer, with whom will they face?
According to a new relationship, the Marvel Studios could already have eyes on two of the most iconic bad guys in mutant history and the implications for the MCU could be enormous.
Marvel Insider Daniel Richtman revealed on her Patreon that Marvel is planning the “next saga” around Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.
Richtman explained: “I once again heard Marvel’s main plans for [the] The next saga is for Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse. “He added that while the casting has yet to be finalized, the study” has some names they have in mind “.
This update suggests that after Robert Downey Jr.Run at Dr. Doom, the torch may have passed to these heavy X-Men hits. Apocalypse has already made its appearance to the big screen in Fox X-Men: ApocalypseBut its introduction MCU would mark a new beginning and a possibility of reinventing it as one of Marvel’s most dangerous threats.
A few months ago, the cosmic circus reported that the X-Men restart of the MCU will introduce three primary antagonists who are different from what we are listening to today. They said it was Mr. Sinister, Senator Robert Kelly and Bolivar Trask.
While it is worth remembering that the long -term plans of Marvel often move, the idea of Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse that enter the MCU spotlight is exciting.
Both characters have deep roots in the X-Men tradition. Mr. Sinister made his comic debut in the extraordinary X-Men #221 in 1987, and was long described as a brilliant geneticist obsessed with the creation of the perfect superhuman breed. His schemes often intertwine with the apocalypse, making them a natural coupling for the MCU.
As for Apocalypse, it remains one of the most powerful and lasting bad people of Marvel. Considered one of the first mutants, he was born in ancient Egypt and used his skills to free himself from slavery and position himself as a divine sovereign.
Over the centuries, it has evolved into an Omega threat with powers that compete with Thanos and Doctor Doom. It is also the mind behind the original knights of the Apocalypse, making it an opponent who can completely change the Marvel landscape.
For now, fans will have to wait and see how Marvel launches his X-Men plans.
