In the film, following the Rich brothers (Hill & Wiig) who are cut off by their parents, Midler will play family matriarch. Written by Ezra Woods And Hill, the film will shoot this autumn with Matt Dines by Strong Baby and Ali Goodwin who produce together with Hill. Jesse Ehrman and Zach Hamby are supervising the study, which has planned the film for release in theaters all over the world on 17 July 2026.
More recently, Midler has been seen in the sequel to his classic Disney movie Hocus Pocuswho beat streaming records for Disney+, as well as films like Sitting in the bars with the cake AND The fabulous four.
