The new Featurette for The Running Man by Edgar Wright focuses on the fight and training

Paramount dropped another featurette behind the scenes for Edgar Wright’S The man running And concentrates Glen Powell Speaking of the struggle and training of action. It also has some videos behind the scenes.

Based on the 1982 Stephen King novel, The man running It is set in a gloomy future in which a brutal show forces competitors to run for their lives while he is chased by professional killers. The story has already been adapted once in the 80s Arnold SchwarzeneggerBut Wright’s version promises something new, closer to the spirit of King’s book.

Powell enters the main role of Ben Richards, a desperate man who volunteers for the game in the hope of winning money to save his sick child and bring out his family from a miserable existence. While the official synopsis makes fun of:

“Set in the oppressive future in which the government controls the media, Ben Richards (played by Glen Powell) volunteer to participate in a deadly game show, which will see him kicked out by professional killers for 30 days. He should survive, he will win a cash prize that will help save his sick child and lift his family from a horrible life situation.”

The cast is full of talent, including Katy O’Brian, Daniel Ezra, Karl Glusman, Josh Brolin, Lee Pace, Jayme Lawson, Michael Cera, Emilia Jones, William H. Macy, David Zayas, Sean HayesAND Colman Domingo.

Wright is not only directing, but also with the script Michael Bacallhis collaborator of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

The film will arrive in the cinemas on November 14, 2025 and since then marks the first Wright feature film Last night in Soho in 2021.
