Disney joins Topps for MLB commercial cards with Disney and Pixar icons

Disney is entering the baseball diamond in a completely new way. On September 24, Topps published the Disney Chrome trading cards, a unique crossover of its kind that combines the Major League baseball with loved Disney and Pixar characters.

The set package in a 200 crome basic collection with Disney and Pixar characters preferred by fans, as well as extras as hand designed sketches and autograph autographs of authentic actor.

But the biggest moment is the official debut of the MLB commercial card of Mickey Mouse, Goodfy and Donald Duck, who will swing the real uniforms of the Major League for the first time.

“Disney’s Mickey and Friends present themselves in exciting and surprising places we love – by bringing together fans for memorable moments,” said Paul Gitter, executive vice president of the marketing of the global brand at Disney Consumer Products, in an interview with Variety.

“The collaboration of Disney Topps with the Major League baseball merges the narration, the sporting fandom and the lasting charm of our iconic characters throughout the public.”

Each Disney icon will represent the divisions within the League. Mickey holds him down for Al and NL West, Goofy takes the east and Donald manages the center.

To keep things fresh, divisions will rotate every year, creating a long -term collector’s chase for fans. For 2025, the trio will appear in the home shirts, while the uniform travel will be scheduled to arrive by the end of the year in the Toppes Chrome Topps baseball series.

Collectors will have options at different points of price: box hobby at $ 420, mega boxes at $ 70 and $ 40 values, all available via Topps.com.

This collaboration adapts perfectly to the wave fueled by the nostalgia that sweeping the collar market, where the heritage brands are collaborating with cultural icons to hook long -standing collectors while attracting new fans.

With Disney approaching its penny and MLB to constant search for new ways to expand its scope, the set of Disney Topps Chrome trading cards looks like a race at home for both sides.
