James Gunn shares the photo of Fined Man of Tomorrow Script and suggests Brainiac as the sequel bad

Director James Gunn confirmed only weeks ago that his Superman following Man of tomorrow It is in the process of and should be predictable on July 9, 2027.

His first film put a rather high bar for this new DC narration era and fans are anxious to see what is in store for our Clark Kent and his company. In a new post on social media, Gunn revealed a photo of the cover of his screenplay for the second film and, with his title, we also see an anatomical photo of the head of a person with the brain inside. Could it be a silent confirmation that Superman’s new villain will be Brainiac?

Brainiac is commonly depicted as a super-intelligent android and cyborg of the planet Colu who is obsessed with the collection of all knowledge in the known universe. It runs through the galaxy and narrows the cities for the size of the bottle for storage on its skull -shaped spaceships before destroying their planets of origin, including Kandor, the capital of the home planet of Superman Krypton.

Considered one of the most dangerous threats in the DC universe, Brainiac entered repeated conflicts with Superman and the Justice League. Although the stories often end up in the apparent destruction of Brainiac, the character’s artificial consciousness is resurrected in new physical forms, some robotics and others more organic based in appearance.

Gunn explained in the recent interview with Howard Stern, that this next story will see Superman and Lex Luthor who exchanged against a much bigger enemy, saying:

“It is a story about Lex Luthor and Superman who must work together to a certain extent against a much, much bigger threat. It is more complicated than that, but this is an important part. It is as much a lex movie as a superman film.

“I liked to work with Nicholas Hoult. I relate to the character of Lex, unfortunately. I really wanted to create something extraordinary with the two of them. I love the screenplay so much.”

On social media, Gunn shared: “As I said countless times, you can watch each project alone, of course (just as you can watch Pacifier alone or look Superman without seeing Commandos creature). But Man of tomorrow AND [Peacemaker season 2] They are very, very connected. “
