Jeron braxtonThe Sundance Prize-Director of the animator, he is making his debut with the new animated science fiction film MelmaAnd he is bringing a little serious star power for the trip.
The cast of voice now includes Willow Smith, Teyana Taylor, Anna Sawai, John ChoAND John Boyegajoin Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudiwhich is also producing and marking the project.
Smith is destined to lead history as Muna, with vocal work that begins next month. While the details on other roles are kept secret for now, the ensemble seems already talented.
Set in a dystopia of almost fugo, Melma Muna follows, an optimistic but broken young woman who enrolled in a clinical experimentation. Things are closing quickly when it is injected with Melma by a mysterious creature, unlocking the destructive powers that cannot control.
Forced on the run, Glenn kidnaps (dubbed by Mescudi), the laboratory worker responsible for his condition, and the two exits a dangerous journey through a world collapse in search of security and care.
The great question that the film makes fun of is if Muna is becoming the most fatal threat of humanity or its last hope of survival.
The film is described as a pre-apocalyptic monstrous story inspired by souls with retro aesthetic of video games. And with Kid Cudi that creates an original soundtrack and score, fans can expect the atmosphere to be bold and experimental as graphics.
Hammerstone Studios is financing the project together with Script 2 Screen, with the production also managed by Mad Solar and Capstone Pictures.
Slime seems to end up being a truly unique voice in animated science fiction genre.
