THE Harry Potter The series that is being developed at the HBO is against the difficult task of making a show that stands out from the beloved films made based on books.
The films established some great actors in the roles, which embodied the characters we already knew and loved, but brought them to life on the screen.
The series has the advantage of being able to focus on the parts of the story that have not been shown in films due to time constraints, but the casting seems to be the largest obstacle for the show creative team.
If a new voice that is floating turns out to be true, there is a casting decision that will really distinguish the show. According to the Scooper sector Daniel Richtman (via Sffgazette.com), “for the Harry Potter show, they are trying both men and women for Voldemort, so it is possible that we could see a female Voldemort in the series”.
It would be a change, but honestly, it would not be a big problem. Voldemort is only an evil being who does not have many human qualities, so the villain could really be interpreted by anyone who can bring that darkness to the role.
THE Harry Potter The series is still in pre-production and is scheduled for HBO in 2027.
