James Gunn announces a man tomorrow for the summer 2027 with Superman and Lex Luthor Art

James Gunn He finally raised the curtain on what will come after Superman. After months of suggestions and speculations, the President of the DC Studios has revealed that his following Superman will be Man of tomorrowwhich will rise in the cinemas on 9 July 2027.

Gunn shared the news on social media, dropping the title and the release date without giving the details of the story. What we know is that both David Corenswet AND Nicholas Hault They are returning as Superman and Lex Luthor.

The actors published their teaser images together with Gunn’s announcement, giving fans a first coordinated look.

What makes those images special is that they are not just random shots of art. They were created fresh for the revelation of three DC artists: Jim Lee Drew Gunn’s, Jorge Jimenez Illustrated Corenswet’s e Mitch Gerads Hoult made. Each piece is dated this year, which suggests that these drawings aim to reflect the direction that the film will take.

The comics that built these characters are modeling the foundations for where the new DC universe is directed on the screen.

Gunn previously had offered an update on the film saying: “I have already finished the treatment for the next story in what I will call the Superman saga. The treatment is done-the which means a very, very resolved treatment. I am working on this, and I hope to go into production on this not too far from today.”

It will be interesting to see what this next story ends.
