Netflix Drops Trailer for the Historical Drama House of Guinness from Steven Knight

Netflix released the trailer for Guinness Housea new dramatic series of Steven KnightThe Creator of Peaky Blinders AND A thousand strokes. The show dives into the history of one of the most famous dynasties in Europe, following the Guinness family during the turbulent 19th century.

The story begins with the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man who transformed the brewery into a global power plant and the consequences that his children Arthur, Edward, Anne and well face how the future of the empire is in the balance.

The official synopsis makes fun of: “House of Guinness explores an epic story inspired by one of the most famous and lasting dynasties in Europe: the Guinness family.

“Set in Dublin of the 19th century and New York, the story begins immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of Guinness Brewerry and the impact of the vast scope of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who are work and Phenom.

Judging by the trailer, the series brings the scale and the intensity of something similar game of ThronesOnly with struggles of power on beer instead of thrones and dragons.

The cast of ensemble includes Louis Partridge Like Edward, Anthony Boyle Like Arthur, Emily Fern Like Anne, Fionn O’Shea Like Benjamin Guinness, together with David Wilmot, James Norton, Jack Gleeson, Niamh McCormack, Seamus O’Hara, Dervla Kirwan, Michael McElhatton, Hilda FayAND Danielle Galligan.

The episodes are directed by Tom Shankland AND Mounia AklWith the production of compliments and nebulastar. With Knight’s writing, this promises to be a saga of the compelling period.
