Elestrals Firestorm Set Blaze a path for the next sets

At the beginning of this year, the team a Elestral launched their new TCG set, Divine champions: firestorm. This brought a couple of new ideas in the game like the samples tags and I am very enthusiastic to see how it goes.

THE Elestral The team was kind enough to send me a package that came with a lot of Firestorm Goodies including a flourish plush, a Firestorm Booster Box, double decks and a pair of extra packages. You can check my opening of all packages and decks below, but for my complete thoughts, I encourage you to read.

I hones sincerely Elestral And I’m so sad that I don’t have a local place to play. Having said that, I think in my limited experience playing this Firestorm It is a very well planned set.

To begin with, the starter deck package is brilliant (and there are two versions!). It is a simple way for you and a friend to enter together and then start playing your first game immediately. The decks are well built and fun out of the box and double face mats have a lot of fantastic and useful information to help you overcome your first game or two.

My only complaint is that he does not explain Foretell (a keyword) and since this was a new mechanic for me, it took a little excavation to actually find any information. Dear Elestral Team, please make this information more easily accessible.

Outside the double decks, the cards in general seem more beautiful. In past experiences I had some small complaints about the details on the cards that are not very easy to see. The team really faced this and the iconography is much easier to see and the types of runes are also appointed on the tab by symbols.

The team certainly seems to have taken the feedback seriously and you are striving to improve the player’s experience which is more than you can say for many other TCG companies at the moment. Combine it with some really strong cards such as Lycavoid, Hibearnaction and more champion cards and Firestorm It has many reasons for the wheels to enter this set.

An aspect of Firestorm That I found strange (and frankly I don’t like) it was that some cards seemed to be reprinted with completely different skills and sometimes without title.

For example, Vyscseris. There is a new one in Firestorm Only calls Vyscseris and the statistics are the same, but the ability is completely different. This is something I had to look up and honestly, I don’t think this is an intelligent move.

This will lead to the confusion between the base of the players and the judges, above all because the cards with the same name from different sets can have different restrictions on them during the construction of decks. I really liked it like Elestral I was managing things with the implementation of the titles and I am not a fan of them who seems to decide arbitrarily that some cards can be the same but different and not have a title.

Having said that, I still think so Firestorm It is a set of fire (planned word game) and makes me really excited for the next set Divine champions: Lifestreame (Preordains open now). I really like the idea of refting strategies through these divine champions.

I hope the team does not fall into the same pitfalls of other TCGs where they are too enchanted in the archetypes in which other strategies or game styles do not work. As long as they care about things, I think the wheels are fun for these next sets.
