King of the Hill creators speak of their decision to keep Bobby’s original voice actor

The show began in 1997 and worked for 13 seasons before leaving, but now it has a plan to make at least two more seasons, which fans are rather pumped. The show welcomes its original cast, but the voice of a character was actually discussed by the creators of the show before their return was decided.

While it was easy to welcome the members of the return cast like Hank and Peggy, who seem the same in the original race, a character was a little more complicated to decide. In a surprising move for some, Hills Bobby’s son has been shown in the trailer that he actually aged over time since the show left the air.

This invites a new type of texture for the character and I think it was a good move. But would the adult Bobby play the same as his teenager?

“Greg and I had a conversation on what the fans will really want to see when they revisit it. Personally we like to hear Pam just do Bobby, you know, don’t try to change it, don’t try to throw it, anything, you know, we, we feel that this will be more comfortable for people to hear that voice they recognize and is pam.
