The story focuses on a lonely affected by the pain played by Emma ThompsonWhich is captured in a brutal storm and moves away on a course near a remote minneso lake. Looking for a refuge, stumbles on an isolated cabin and discovers a horrible situation, a kidnapped young woman, played by Laurel Marsdenheld prisoner by a dangerous couple played by Judy Greer AND Marc Menchaca.
Without cell service and no way out, Thompson’s character becomes the only hope of survival in a fatal stalemate.
This is a very different type of movie for Thompson and Greer as they play truly unique and interesting characters that we have never seen them play before.
Died of winter it is directed by Brian Kirk and co-scored by Nicholas Jacobson-Lorson AND Dalton Leeb. The trailer is rich in suspense and creeping terror, with Thompson entering a gritty role and put on the ground.
