With the first two episodes of Alien: earth Now in streaming on Disney+, fans are getting their first true tasting of what Noah Hawley He prepared his last voice in the legendary science fiction horror franchise. To maintain adrenaline pumping, a brand new trailer has just dropped the terrifying road to go.
Episode 2 ends on a unnerving cliffhanger while wendy races to save his brother CJ from a monstrous xenon. The new trailer confirms that CJ comes out lives and returns to Prodigy City, but the danger is far from finished.
Kirsh and his team of scientists begin to examine an alien species just discovered, which will certainly not end well. There are already a strong suspicion towards the real reasons of Kirsh. Of course, he behaves as if he took care of the hybrids, but his behavior is giving more ash than the bishop.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Hawley shared the reason why he felt the need to evolve the threat of Xenomorph by introducing new alien creatures in the mix.
“My task in reinventing these classic films is to understand, what are the series of feelings that the original makes me feel? And then, how can I make you feel those same feelings? The reality is that I cannot make you feel the life cycle of this creature for the first time because you know so well, this evolution so well, this evolution is really this evolution that is really four monsters and one. It is a parasitic.
“The only way to make you feel that terrible discovery is to add new creatures,” he added. “You don’t know how they reproduce or what to eat. So get this terror that comes every time they are on the screen you are like,” I know something will happen. I don’t know what it will be. “And then when it happens, it’s worse than you could imagine.”
This approach maintains longtime fans, inviting fresh horror in a world that we thought we understood. It is always nice to have the feeling of unknown terror.
