Is the new crossover of Marvel and DC the field that Hollywood is paying attention to?

The ancient debate Marvel vs. DC is about to hit a completely new level and for once this is not the best. It is what happens when these two universes collide. For decades, fans have dreamed of a crossover event and, although Hollywood has never delivered, Marvel Comics and DC are intensifying in a way that should pay attention to Marvel Studios and DC Studios.

Starting from September, the last team-up starts with Deadpool/Batman #1, published by Marvel, followed in November by DC Batman/Deadpool #1. You cannot get more profile of the mercenary’s high profile with a mouth and the dark knight, and both shots are loaded with all-star creative talent. Zeb Wells AND Greg Capullo Spread the first issue, while DC returns the fire with its stacked formation.

But the crossover doesn’t stop there. Backup stories bring together even more iconic couplings: Daredevil teams with Green Arrow in a story of Kevin Smith AND Adam Kubert; Jeff The Land Shark meets Krypt for kindly concession Kelly Thompson AND Gurihiru; And perhaps the most symbolic matchup of all … Captain America and Wonder Woman, made by ZDARSKY CHIP AND Terry Dodson.

Dodson even offers an extraordinary cover with Cap and Diana side by side, a visual that screams cinematographic potential.

And this is the thing. The comics are giving fans what they’ve worsened for decades, but why stop here? Hollywood is sitting on a gold mine. Marvel Studios is trying to regain his momentum after a rocky section, while James Gunn’S DC Universe has just started with Superman.

A crossover event on the big screen could be the latest game at the box office, injecting fresh energy into both franchises and beating records along the way.

When previously spoke of the idea that Gunn said: “We talked about a billion times. This could easily happen, but simultaneously, I think it would be interesting. But I also think people are a little above.”

Gunn therefore offers an intelligent vision of things: “I think people want to see good stories with their superheroes and this is what matters. And they want to see different types of stories with their superheroes. And people love superheroes. It is obvious, but they need more variety and only have a quality narration.

“And only to have Spider-Man and Superman Team will not do it if it is SH-T. So it has to come from a real place, and it is really difficult to do that job.”

I agree 100%, and while it would be really fantastic to see a Marvel and DC crossover on the big screen, it will not happen for a long time … if ever.

It is certainly fun, however, to imagine Wonder Woman and Captain America who share the screen with Batman and Deadpool who tighten in live-action. It is the type of fan of cinematographic events and box office analysts.

The variants covers make fun of even more amazing frontality: Artgerm puts Magik against Catwoman, Steve McNiven unleashes Wolverine against Batman, and Peach Momoko couples Elektra with Batgirl. These are not just interesting covers: they are projects for Matchup from billions of dollars.

Do you think studies should start jumping in these crossover or should they stay in their respective universes?
