Trailer for Realm of Satan – A very boring documentary on modern satanism

The release of the monument issued the trailer for Kingdom of Satan, Scott Cummings’Documentary who dives into the world of satanism and that’s not what you would expect.

The film was previewed in Sundance at the beginning of this year and I saw it, but it was a very burning film and completely uninteresting. There is certainly nothing exciting in modern satanism. Not like the wild tales we have heard since the 70s and 80s!

The documentary brings the spectators within the controversial Kingdom of Satan Church, offering closely the daily life of the Satanists, as well as their rituals and beliefs. According to the official description, the film “captures the satanists both in the newspaper and in the extraordinary, revealing their mystical world of magic, mystery and misanthropy”.

Cummings approaches the topic with an artistic Len: “Cummings creates every frame as a painting to allow the wild, elegant and dynamic world of the Satanists to take place on the screen”.

The project presents figures like Peter Gilmore, Blanche BartonAND Peggy NadramiaKey names associated with the church of Satan. It is produced by Pacho Velez (Researchers, the American sector) ,, Caitlin Mae Burke (We could be the king), AND Molly Gandour (Gasland).

Cummings expressed excitement for the theatrical launch: “I am excited to work with the monument on the theatrical version of Realm of Satan. Cinema is a magical space and this film requires a singular experience.

“The monument was left behind and celebrated the uniqueness of this film and I am excited to put the public together in our spell. I was a subscriber and cheerleader Mubi since I could not think of a better and exciting partner to work with.”

The film will make its theatrical debut in the United States on July 17th in Filadelphia, followed by the slopes of the Nitehawk in New York (Prospect Park) and the Metograf. After its limited version, it affects digital platforms on September 2nd and subsequently lands exclusively on mubes starting from 3 October for US and Canadian subscribers.
