Robert Carlyle (Toxic city, Trainspotting) signed to play the legendary literary detective Sherlock Holmes in season 2 of the CBS series Watson. Carlyle will appear in a recurring role of guest, working in series of a series Morris Chestnutwho plays Dr. John Watson. The series is also the protagonist Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, Ritchie Coster, Inga Schlingmann AND Rochelle Aytes.
The investigative medical drama is a modern vision of one of the greatest detectives in history as it turns its attention from the resolution of the crimes to the resolution of medical mysteries. While Watson’s team may have defeated Moriarty (Randall Park) Last season, remain determined in season 2 in their mission to investigate and treat the rarer diseases in the world for patients of their clinic.
With your eyes fixed for the future, Watson faces an unexpected turning point when Sherlock Holmes, who was alleged dead, came back, forcing him to confront himself with a secret buried by his past – one who lies hidden in his own body.
The second season is previewed at 22:00 on Monday 13 October, on CBS and flows on Paramount+.
