Waiting Pacifier Season 2 is almost over e James Gunn I just gave fans a reason to become even more advertised. Before the official drop trailer during the San Diego Comic-Con panel of tomorrow, which will also hit the online posters and HBO Max have shared the Twunes posters and has made fun of the fact that this season plays an important role in modeling the future of the DC universe.
The first poster shows John dinnerChristopher Smith who fixes a mural of an alternative universe version of himself, swinging a new helmet design. The second poster brings to the rest of the team, Ragtag’s crew notoriously known as the 11th Street Kids from the first season.
Next to the revelation, Gunn wrote: “If he cannot find peace here, perhaps he will find it somewhere else. The story of Superman and the DCU continues with season 2 of the peacemaker on August 21”.
That line, “The story of Superman and the DCU continues”, is interesting has aroused many speculations. Could it mean that David Corenswet will make his first appearance as a new steel man? Gunn has hinted that a great cameo will arrive later in the season, but whether it is Superman or another great DC character remains a mystery.
What we know is that season 2 will present apparitions by Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and Maxwell Lord, further connecting the pacifier to the plot of the largest DCU that Gunn is building.
The newly published synopsis sheds light on what Smith will be against: “In season 2, Peacemaker discovers an alternative world in which life is everything he wants to be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future in his hands”.
This prepares the stage for a fascinating turning point, since Smith will affect an alternative reality and meet a version of himself who has taken into consideration much higher and will make an interesting and dynamic storyelling.
