I just came out of the Hall H to the Comic-Con after seeing the first episode of Alien: earthAnd Howly shit … this show was absolutely up to the Hype. It’s fantastic! This is a series that I was very enthusiastic about and the first Epsiode has not disappointed. Perfectly captures the DNA of Alien AND Aliens As they launch us in a new bold and disturbing chapter of the franchise.
From the moment it started, the atmosphere made me hook to me. Alien: earth It does not waste time to loosen yourself, throws you directly into a world that feels both familiar and terrifying.
The tone is pure terror in strati with moments of explosive action and intense chaos. It is classic Alien Horror mixed with action sequences that are taken. If I had to summarize the episode in a word, it would be disturbing.
What really grabbed me was the direction of history. Under the carnage and the tension, there is a dark corporate corner that excavates in depth in power and greed … to what extent people will dominate, even if it means sacrificing humanity itself.
This is not just a horrible survival story, it is a strong comment on control and corruption in a world that faces unimaginable threats. Add the fascinating concept of transfer of a human mind to a synthetic body and you have a narrative as disturbing as it is compelling.
Hardcore fans will lose their heads for this and only the first episode has been full of small things that you will notice from the other franchise films. They are thin but unmistakable, they nod the original films that seem a reward for long -standing devotees without fighting your head with nostalgia.
Then there is the score, which is chilling, voltage button and sometimes strangely beautiful. Amplifies the atmosphere in a way that seems absolutely right for this universe. He also takes ideas from the music of Alien AND Aliens.
With a budget that is said to be overcome FX Shōgun which recorded $ 250 million, Alien: earth It could be one of the most expensive shows that the network has ever produced and shows it.
Everything, from visual effects to the creature design and the history of high quality screams. The story kicks off when a farewell ship crashes on earth, pulling Sydney ChandlerThe character and a team of tactical soldiers in a nightmare that threatens the planet.
If the rest of the series keeps this level of intensity, we are looking at something truly special. I can’t wait to see where it goes.
