Marvel Studios has published a new teaser for The Fantastic Four: First StepsAnd it is as chaotic as it is cosmic. The clip focuses on Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), who once again lets his ego speak, this time with the silver surfers, played by Julia Garner.
If you saw the previous trailers, you could remember Johnny who told the team that he didn’t need a backup to “kill sexy aliens”. Well, he expects that strategy.
In this new movie, Johnny Storm in full human torch mode approaches the silver surfer halfway glide and asks me awkwardly: “Is your table connected to your body?”
Garner’s surfist, who plays the version of Sardinian-Bal of the comic character, does not seem too impressed and, honestly, he would not even want Galactus, for those who are working.
Garner’s casting shaken some waves when he announced for the first time, with a vocal piece of the internet waiting for a more traditional and male version of the Silver Surfer. But at the premiere of the film, Garner turned, saying:
“I said: ‘I still have to do my job. Also, it’s Sawla-Bal, so it’s different. I was just happy that people are resonating with it, just like any other project. I am grateful to be in this dance, to be completely honest with you.”
So far, marketing for First steps He leaned hard on the team’s dynamics, but moments like this make fun of a more fun and comic advantage, especially when Johnny’s buffering collides with the larger and more serious cosmic plots.
A Civettola fire ball that tries to enchant a chromed herald of Galactus? This is exactly the type of strange Marvel energy that I am thrilled to see.
Johnny thinks he had a moment.
