DC Studios has shared a new clip from James Gunn’S SupermanAnd he has fans who speak. It gives us a complete look at one of the first showdowns of the film while Superman is fighting the Boravia hammer.
It is not only the brute force that the man of steel is against, it is fighting precision, strategy and a villain who literally knows every move.
In the scene, we see Superman returning from a healing session in the fortress of solitude, ready for the second round. But the hammer is not his own, the struggle dominates. Every fist that Kal Lancia is dodged, every move contrasted as the reading of the villain by a cheat Sheet. And this is because … it is.
The great revelation here is that Lex Luthor is pulling the ropes. His team of technological specialists is fueling the controls in real time to the hammer during the fight. Luthor’s obsessive study on Superman, its flight models, attack rhythms and even micro-compliances have allowed them to overcome it essentially.
