We are two weeks after James Gunn’S Superman Hit the theaters to kick off our Summer Superheroes. While we have seen different interpretations of the character par excellence and we have many supens choices to look at throughout the year, Superman co-protagonist Rachel Brosnahan He believes that this film can only be the “shot in the arm of hope” that we all need at this moment.
In a recent Superman Set of visit to Comicbook, Brosnahan offered new information on the tone of the film, describing the film highly anticipated as a confident vision of the hero who is perfect for the current moment.
Without revealing specific plot points, it has positioned the optimistic message of the film as a powerful and necessary contribution to the film scene of the comics, suggesting that its main philosophy is what makes it “the Superman we need at the moment”.
Brosnahan explained: “I seem to hope rather than explicitly comic. One of the things that I love so many James films is that they are a real blow to the arm of hope. They remind you that the reason that people love comics is because they teach us that superheroes are not the only superheroes.
“They are not the only ones with important powers in these worlds. They remind us of the importance of courage, tenacity and interest in mutual well -being. What does it mean to be at the service of the greatest good.”
I can’t wait to see it! I heard it is visually surprising, and the more I see, the better it seems. Superman Fly to cinemas on 11 July.
