The new Disney+ series Oswald the lucky rabbit By the writer, producer and director Jon Favreaufound his three leads, with Ravi Cabot-Conyers (Skeleton crew, Encanto) ,, Mykal-Michelle Harris (The house of Raven, Mixed) AND Ryder Allen (The penguin, Palmer). The animated/live-action hybrid talks about Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, an impertinent and self-centered bunny.

Cabot-Conyers will play Jake, a single school student with a big heart. Harris will play Jen, an artistic middle school that is always in front of the game. Allen will play Taylor, a middle school student who is cautious but avoids lowering his friends.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit as a character is very important for Walt Disney Co. The cartoon, which has a close similarity with Mickey Mouse, has a fractured story with the company and has played a fundamental role in the creation of the most famous animated character in Disney.

Oswald was created in 1927 by Walt Disney and presented in 27 animated short films. But after Universal took control of the character in 1928, Disney created a new character as a replacement: Mickey Mouse.

Bring Oswald Home had been a priority for Disney Bob Iger CEO and Walt Disney Co. acquired the brand in 2006. The character entered the public sector in 2023.
