New Friday the 13th Vignette Sweet Revenge is reporting Jason in a new bloody way

Jason Voorhees is returning to the spotlight, this time with a short -term bloodbath entitled Sweet revengeled by Wrong turning AND Silent night, fatal night Restive director Mike P. Nelson.

Produced by Horror, Inc., the company behind the Friday 13th Franchise, the cartoon acts as a brutal fulcrum of the celebration of Jason’s 45th anniversary.

Sweet revenge It drops the fans in “a chilling weekend in the woods full of surprises steeped in blood that only Jason can deliver”. Nelson is writing, directing and producing under his Rockford Road Pictures banner and filming has already started.

This project is a fundamental part of a wider push to rise and redefine the Friday 13th brand. The cartoon will be previewed on the official Jason Universe YouTube channel and is hosted by Angry Orchard Hard Cider, who joined chaos as sponsor.

Nelson could not be more electrified, sharing: “I am so grateful that the Horror team, Inc. saw something sweet revenge and wanted it as part of the story of Jason Voorhees!

“And thinking 30 years ago I was trying to secretly watch these films on VHS when no one was looking for. Having the opportunity to write and direct one of these stories is surreal – not to mention an extraordinary team led by Chad Villella and Brianna Lee Johnson helping to give it life!

“Not only is the cartoon a new interpretation of the beloved IP, but it is a comfortable and comfortable embrace, which reminds us why we fell in love with these films. Very gruesome fun awaits you!”
