Here is a trailer for a next action thriller entitled Soldierwhich stars Jamie Foxx, Robert De Niro, Scott EastwoodAND John Leguizamo. With an excellent cast of the genre, you could expect a good movie, but it seems super generic! I’m not sure how they pulled away that casting!
The synopsis of the film reads: “Jamie Foxx will put you under his spell in this worship compound drawing thriller. Bokushi preaches hundreds of war veterans, attracted by the promise of protection and purpose below him.
“Surrounded by his devoted followers trained by the military, he built an impenetrable fortress and accumulated an arsenal. After several failed infiltration attempts, the-sotto government form of operator Emmanuel Ashburn-Recluta Nash Cavanaugh, ex-specialist, which was once a disciple of Bokushi.
“Nash agrees to use his vulnerable knowledge of the past and the pitfalls of the enigmatic leader to finally take revenge on the man who took everything from him, including the love of his life.”
Soldier it is directed by Brad Furman (The Take, The Lincoln Lawyer, Runner Runner) and is destined to be released directly in the United Kingdom on 23 July 2025.
