Fans of the DC eager to revisit Themyscira, you are Fortunato, DC Studios is still developing his Paradise has lost series. The show is set on the mythical house of the island of Wonder Woman and in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Co-Coife DC Studios James Gunn gave a small but welcome update on the project and how it adapts to the wider DCU, especially when it comes to the new revealed Wonder Woman Movies.
“Paradise Lost is moving. It’s slow, but it is moving. And, yes, I love that project very much.”
When asked if the series is connected to the next Wonder Woman Movies, Gunn has a bit … well, gunn-ish:
“Yes. Well, yes and no. Wonder Woman is a separate thing. We are working on Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman is written right now. So it is different. I want to say, it is not different. They are connected. It comes from F – on themes, then …”
What we know is that Paradise has lost It is still coming, even if Diana will not present at all. It aims to take place long before its birth and will explore politics, power struggles and mythology of the same therapy.
Gunn has previously described the show as a sort of DCU flavor game of ThronesA political fantasy thriller set in a paradise that is not as peaceful as it seems.
The show was originally announced in January 2023 as part of the first list of the RCC restart, and it is believed to be inspired by the lost comic arch of the island of Paradise Phil Jimenez AND George Pérez.
While the creative teams for Paradise has lost and the without title Wonder Woman The film was not revealed, Gunn confirmed for the first time that “Wonder Woman has been written right now”.
With Superman who launches the new DCU on 11 July, all eyes are now on how the rest of artexia will take shape, even when we finally set foot on Themycira. Until then, let’s wait.
