Alan Cumming He is returning to the role of NightCrawler in the next Marvel film Avengers: DoomsdayAnd the experience is not only much easier for makeup, but it is healing for the actor.
We saw him for the first time in the role of Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler in the 2003 film X2: X-Men Unitedwho was notoriously known for his toxic set, since he was later revealed that the director, Bryan SingerHe almost closed everything because of his angry explosions and the terrible treatment of the cast and the crew.
So this return is a welcome breath of fresh air, which Cumming hopes that he will rewrite some negative memories of his past. In a recent interview with Thr, the actor of X2and of Doomsday:
“I had a lot of fun doing it. We all did. It wasn’t nice. [Marvel] He was very aware of it. It is not yet finished, but he seems to heal to return to something that has not been the greatest experience and have fun.
“When I wrote my book, LuggageI realized it after X-MenI stopped making that type of bigger blockbuster type movies.
“I didn’t do anything like this for years. I moved away from that great car because I didn’t want to be an unhappy gear. Returning to a different atmosphere, it’s really nice.”
Avengers: Doomsday It strikes cinemas on 18 December 2026.
