Paramount Pictures has released a complete trailer for The naked gun Restart, and sees Liam Neeson as Frank Debin Jr., a confused police officer and his team of colleagues from the police team, who are all foolish.
The support cast includes Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Cch Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yuwith Danny Huston.
Like someone who ranks the original films because they are so damn funny, I am happy to see that this new film seems that it will offer a little of the same hilarity!
This new interpretation of the classic absurdist comic series sees the protagonist of Neeson as Frank Drebin Jr., son of the iconic detective of the baffata Leslie Nielsen. And while the witness is clearly overcome, the spirit of the original remains intact: it is strong, ridiculous and full of gloriously stupid gags.
The synopsis recites: “Only a man has the particular series of skills … to guide the police team and save the world! Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr. follows his father’s footsteps The naked gun. Based on the very popular comedies franchise The Naked Gun and Television Series “Police Squad!” by Jim Abrahams and David Zucker and Jerry Zucker. “
The film is directed by The solitary island Akiva Schaffer, with Family boy Creator Seth MacFarlane AND Erica Huggins produce.
The film will be released on July 18th!
