The great exclusive Marvel SDCC of Hasbro is a deep Marvel surprise

Hasbro is going far from the beaten routes with the exclusive Big Marvel Legends Sdcc this year, and I love how strange it is.

Announced in view of San Diego Comic-Con 2025, the “Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Gamerverse Marvel Snap Savage Land 3-Pack” series is not the usual range of vinders or the MCU bond.

This is a collector set directly from Marvel Snap, the successful digital card game, and is putting the spotlight on a trio of characters that even some fans of the comics may have to have on Google.

The set includes Rogue, Sauron and Shanna The She-Devil, all in style after their designs in the wild season of the land of Marvel Snap. This means bold colors, stylized details and a strong dose of prehistoric pulp vibrations.

Let’s break down this:

• Rogue is the most familiar face: the X-Men legend, the southern power that absorb the power and base of comics, animation and long-standing films.

• Sauron is an X-Men villain, who literally is a flying dinosaur vampire. A pterodactylus with an intellect at the laboratory coat level and the power to absorb energy like a thief. And yes, it is the source of that spider-man and the meme X-Men #2 in which Spidey says he could cure cancer and Sauron replies:

  “I don’t want to cure cancer. I want to transform people into dinosaurs.”

• Shana The-Devil is a super-athlete who lives in the jungle, a ferocious veterinarian transformed into a war introduced in the early 70s. He was a recurring player in wild terrestrial plots, in particular together with Ka-Zar in various X-Men comics.

The figures seem really fantastic and are stylized, detailed and visually distinct from the typical rate of Marvel legends.
