THE Bosch Star was launched in front JK Simmons In Westiesa new series of crime for MGM+ periods created by Chris Brancato (Godfather of Harlem) AND Michael Vanes.
Set in the early 1980s, the series falls in the brutal world of the notorious Irish crowd of Hell’s Kitchen, just like the construction of the Jacob Javits Center opens new opportunities and new enemies.

This is a great role to be played for Welver, and it will be fun to see him share the screen with Simmons, who plays Eamon Sweeney, the charismatic but ruthless head of the Westies.
According to the official synopsis:
“Although it has been larger from 50 to 1 by the five families of the Italian mafia, the legendary brutality of the Westies and the cunning gave them the lever necessary to share the booty through a fragile détento.
“But the internal conflict between the younger younger generations and the leadership of the old school threaten to put a correspondence on this barrel of dust, which will sweep the westies in the always emerging investigation of the FBI on the Italian mafia.”
Welliver’s return to crime narration is not surprising. After playing the detective of the Lapd Harry Bosch for seven seasons (and a spin -off), he recently shot a pilot for The equalizer Spin -Off on CBS and appeared in India Sundance Ricky.
For fans of crime drama, in particular those who crave a little vintage parmesan and street power games, the Westies are preparing to be one to look at.
