Norman Reedus hopes to return for a sequel to dancer: “He is willing to fight everyone in the world”

In the film, Reedus plays Daniel, a quiet but mortal figure with his reasons. Reedus says:

“He would have grown with a lot of guilt, a lot of murder, a lot of secrecy, and I think he has just reached a point where his little girl, who is about to be introduced in this world, is willing to fight everyone in the world.”

Reedus sees a shared push between his character and Eva and John Wick himself, people pushed to the limit for something they love, without limits to how far they will go.

“He doesn’t want him for his daughter, so he will do everything possible to make sure he can get her out of there.

“In a sense it reflects Ana’s character, in a certain sense, because he is fighting everyone, which is the same as Keanu in the John Wicks.

“It is so important for her to get revenge, and it is so important for Daniel to save her little girl. So I think it’s there that those two characters join.”

And while the dancer gives us a look at Daniel’s past, a lot is still under the compresses, something that Reedus wants to explore in a sequel.

“I would like to see it happen. I’d like to see how it arrived where it came, and what brought it to that hot point. I want to say, being in a John Wick movie is a kind of dry list for an actor. It’s too beautiful. So I hope, yes, I would like.”

With the dancer that expands the universe John Wick in new directions, Daniel Di Reedus looks like a character with many unfinished affairs and perhaps also a spin -Off somewhere along the way.
