The movie Paradise Records Today he is making his debut at the Tribeca Film Festival and I was able to watch him before his release. The film was written, directed and produced by the Hip-Hop artist Logicwho also starred in the film, making his debut on the big screen in each of those skills.
In the film, Logic plays Cooper, a owner of a record shop that, together with his cousin and friends, is trying to keep the shop alive despite the unpaid bills accumulate. While this looks like a simple story that we saw before, eccentric characters, cameo of stars and a hostage situation with bloody chaos makes the story unique in the best ways.
Remember the films of the 90s that we all loved, which take place in shopping centers, record shops, comic shops, diners, video shops and other small businesses in citizens to whom we grew up.
The best part of the film is the joke among the friends and jokes that launch each other in each scene. We even see Outtakes at the end of the film that include some big courses that have not made the cut.
The film reminds me of a film by Jay and Silent Bob, which is fun because the couple makes a appearance, together with tons of other stars such as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ron Perlman, Kevin Corrigan, DIedrich Bader, Martin Starr, Bobby LeeAnd many others.
Paradise Records It is only a good moment full of carefree fun and classified R, and I had a lot of fun looking at it. Stay tuned for the theatrical release date of the film.
