Universal Pictures has made a new poster for Blumhouse’s next horror movie Five nights in Freddy’s 2Which seems to be a great sequel. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, you can check it here.
There is still no summary of the plot for the film, but the slogan reads: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second possibilities …”
Blumhouse’s Five nights from Freddy’s It was the most recessed horror film of 2023, and the sequel will be a new chapter that reconstructed the blood of animatronic terror.
Based on Scott Cawthon’s successful horror games series, Five nights in Freddy’s 2 It is again directed by the acclaimed director Emma Tami (The wind, the blood moon).
The first film followed Mike, a troubled young man who reluctantly takes a job as a night security guard in an abandoned themed restaurant, the Freddy Fazbear pizzeria, hoping that he will help him preserve the custody of his young sister. That fateful decision instead drags him into the black heart of a supernatural nightmare. Mike’s story continues in the next sequel.
The film is the protagonist Josh Hutcherson AND Matthew Lillard He is also returning for more chaotic animatronic chaos! Jim Henson’s creature shop has also returned to manage animatronics!
Lillard had previously said about the sequel: “I will say that I think the filmmakers have done an excellent job in learning from the first film of what fans want, and I think they are giving much more. It will be more exciting and I think it will have more action.”
Blumhouse confirmed that this film will only be released in cinemas on December 5, 2025.
