Ryan Coogler’S Sinners It was a southern moody and blood -stuffed Gothic that twisted gender conventions and offered an unexpected cinematographic experience, and has become a box office success. Now, it seems that Warner Bros. is ready to turn it into a franchise.

The original film concluded most of its plots satisfactorily, but that Mid-Credits Stinger opened a door, quite wide, for a sequel to slip.
Set in 1992, the scene reveals that Sammie challenged the warnings of her father and left Mississippi behind a new life like Bluesman in Chicago. After a concert, he is approached by two family faces: appeal (Michael B. Jordan,) and Mary (one of the twin brothers played by Michael B. Jordan), the only vampires survived by the first film.
What follows is a silent and sweet and sour scene loaded with tension while Stack tells Sammie that smoking, their old opponent, has spared his life not dead on a condition: never come after Sammie. He offers to transform his cousin into a vampire, giving him a blow to immortality. But Sammie’s answer is clear. He says he “seen enough of this place”.
The exchange between the two is heavy with history. Before leaving, Sammie confesses that even if it is still persecuted by what happened, the opening evening of all those years ago was the greatest moment of his life. The stack agrees. It was the last time he saw his brother, the last time he saw the sun and “the only time I have ever felt really free”.
If this sequel happens, it seems a good move to follow Stack and Mary as there are plant from stories to tell for them in the years in which they have wandered for the earth as vampires. There is a lot of space to explore what the type of immortality means once the dust is deposited and the blood dries.
Coogler’s original film was rooted in pain, history and a deep sense of the place, all offering acute chills. The fact that returns or not to direct the sequel is unknown, but the world he has built has clearly more stories to tell, and Warner Bros. seems ready to sink his teeth.
