Magnolia released the trailer for an action thriller in bold, without a bar without Holds “entitled 40 acres. The story is set in the near future decimated in which a former soldier and his family struggle to safeguard their farm as they make a last position against a purple Hell-Bent militia in taking their land.
In the film, “After a plague, all animal life was uprooted, the famine spreads all over the world leaving society in war and ruin, but the freeman survived – even thrived – in their ancestral farm as long as they send the occasional raid party.
“But what is the use of surviving at the end of the world if this means snublishing your own humanity? The former soldier Hailey made that choice years ago, believing that the isolation was the only way to protect her family. She and her partner Galen fled from the collapse together with their children, fenced them from the world and trained them to fight (and, yes, kill).
“But now Emanuel of Hailey is a young man and when he meets a young woman in the forest beyond the fence, his need for human contact could endanger the whole family.
