According to reports, the Russo brothers launch the new Ghost Rider for Avengers: Doomsday

It has recently been reported that Marvel Studios rejected the release dates for both Avengers: Doomsday AND Avengers: Secret Wars. Fans delay bites, but there is a silver coating with more time for Joe AND Anthony Russo To create a fantastic film, with the type of colossal chaos with which they made themselves Infinity War AND Endgame.

And apparently, they could use that time to bring a literal Hellfire to the MCU. In a recent episode of The Hot Mic Podcast, the Insider Jeff Sneider dropped a mouthful worthy of a flame:

“I heard this week that Marvel is launching the role of Ghost Rider. This is for the day of judgment. I feel that Ghost Rider will be on the day of judgment.”

If this is true, I love the fact that Ghost Rider is evoked for the next great story of the Avengers. But Sneider clarified that this will not be a nostalgic awakening. He said this is the MCU Ghost Rider, not the return of Nicolas Cage like Johnny Blaze.

It is worth noting that Ghost Rider circled Marvel’s theatrical plans for a while. The voices once suggested that they appeared Spider-Man: New daywhich was originally destined to debut between Doomsday AND Secret wars.

The launch speculation is also in full swing, with Ryan Gosling. In 2023, during the press for The autumn boyHorowitz asked Gosling if he would have been interested in wearing the flaming skull. The actor replied:

“This was a magical moment. I told Josh that I would like to interpret Ghost Rider. He found Kevin Feige, he turns him off, does an interview with him. When he says:” I would like, “All the lights go out.”

When it is pressed again, Gosling said:

“I do not know.”

Co-protagonist Emily BluntWhoever doubted that he would go to a complete superhero, Gosling said:

“I would like it, it would be incredible. Come in Ghost Rider.”

At this point, there is no official word on who they are looking at the casting, but I imagine they are trying to go great. Whether it’s Gosling or someone else, Ghost Rider’s inclusion in the film will be cool and if it’s true, I’m curious to see how they use it in history.
