James Gunn It is not holding when it comes to Pacifier Season 2. With the DCU getting a full -blown restart, Gunn is ensuring Pacifier prosperous in its future plans DC. In a new interview with EW, Gunn has shed light on what fans can expect, and it is a lot.
The recently published trailer has already taken a look at what is coming, including the official debut of characters such as Nathan FillionGuy Gardner e Isabela MercedHawkgirl. But those cameo? This is only the beginning. Gunn said:
“I developed it along the road, in collaboration with the other DC projects we are doing, so it is very connected to Superman and is very connected to what comes later.
“I had an approximate idea of what I was about to do, but in reality it was quite different from what the show ended up being.”
One of the key connective fabrics between Pacifier And the largest DCU is a piece of technology introduced in the season 1 called quantum development chamber or quc, which was created by the deeply problematic father of Peacemaker, White Dragon.
This pocket -sized technology is apparently the center of the history of season 2 and will lead to Gunn Superman Movies. Shared gunn:
“You have seen what we call Quc, the quantum turning point, in the first season of Peacemaker, and see more on that Superman technology.
“The quc is the center of history in season 2 of pacifier … let’s see many different Superman characters in [season], [including] Isabela and Nathan and Sean, and then we see a lot of other characters later in the season from other parts of the DCU and Superman. “
He then made fun of:
“There could also be a very much, really, really great cameo close to the end of the show.”
Of course, this opens the door to many wild possibilities such as alternative timing, Doppelgängers, Retcons and any other imagination of Gunn is preparing behind the scenes.
As for Peacemaker himself, we are collecting “about” two years after the events of season 1 and Chris Smith has developed some ego. Having saved the world from butterflies, he thinks he is ready for the big championships.
“We come to season 2 with Peacemaker who knows he saved the world from butterflies. He thinks he is now a great star and should be a real superhero.
“And we see at the beginning of episode 1 which is meeting the superher of Superman superheroes, and is basically interviewing the adhesion to the group. But they derive it all the time, so it is not taken seriously.”
Gunn continues saying:
“It is still considered a final joke among all the other metumans, so the season is starting in a bad place. Like all our heroes, all the children of the 11th Street – Well, all except the vigilante [Freddie Stroma]Which always seems to feel good with everything. “
Warner Bros. describes season 2 as the continuous “the story of Christopher” Chris “Smith, aka Peacemaker, the supervisory superhero while fighting to reconcile his past with his new sense of purpose, continuing to kick the right evil ass in his wrong search for peace at any cost.”
So, we have large cameos coming, Superman connections, size drop in size and peacemaker is still an adorable jackass. I am excited to see how it takes place and I enhanced that Gunn attacks the landing with its large ambitious plans.
