Holt McCallanny guides the family criminal drama in the trailer of the Waterfront series in Netflix

Netflix released a trailer for their next series The seafronta family drama led by Holt McCallanny, Maria Bello, Jake Tired, Melissa Benoist, Rafael L. Silva, Humberly González, Danielle CampbellAND Brady Hepner. The guest stars of the series include Topher Grace, Dave Annable, Michael Gaston, Gerardo CelascoAND Zach Roerig.

The series is created and showrun from Kevin Williamsoncreator of Cry Horror franchise, as well as writer Sick, the Vampire DiariesAND Tell me a story. The show was written by Kevin Williamson, Lloyd Gilyard Jr., Brenna Kouf, Michael Narducci, Hannah Schneider and Katelyn Crabb, with episodes directed by Erica Dunton, Liz Friedlander, Marcos Siega.

The synopsis reads:

“For decades, the Buckley family ruled Havenport, NC, dominating everything from the local fishing industry to the city’s restaurants.

“But their fishing empire started crumbling while the patriarch Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallank) recovers from two heart attacks, and his wife Belle (Maria Bello) and his son Cane (Jake Weary) venture deeply to maintain family activities.

“While their attempts to spiral out of control and in insidious waters, Harlan enters to take the command. Face his own demons, their daughter Bree (Melissa Benoist), a recovery addict who has lost the custody of his son Diller (Brady Hepner), finds himself lurking in a complicated relationship that could simply threaten the future of the family forever.
