Lewis Pullman It was the star of Breakout of Thunderbolts*. First we knew as a human being with good heart with a troubled past, who then assumed Sentry’s cloak, one of the most powerful beings of the universe, and had to lean on love for friends to bring it back from the dark side.
The post-Credit scene of the film saw him again as Bob, one of the team, but being very deliberated in being away from the darkness that almost took him.
Now, Pullman is opening a little on the careful dance that his character and those around him will have to do in the film out Avengers: Doomsday.
In an interview with Health of menPullman said his teammates will have to keep an eye on Bob DoomsdayWhile trying to find a way to exploit the “power of a thousand that explode the only” without unleashing its inner darkness on the world. He explained:
“Thunderbolts do not want to let him come out of their sight, because they realize that if it is captured in the wrong hands or if it is not quite supported by the right people, it could be dangerous.
“But they also want to keep it close in case they can find a way to use it. It is a very good resource. It is a difficult situation in which they find themselves.
“With all the other characters who will be in Avengers: Doomsday, there will be so many opportunities to understand how everyone could come into play and how Bob could come into play with any of them.”
Bob will have to keep things under control, perhaps this film will see him learn to use his powers without succumbing to them. Or maybe it will be captured and used by Dr. Doom? We will just have to wait and see how everything goes.
Pullman went on in the interview to talk about taking on the role later Steven Yeun I had to abandon due to programming conflicts.
“They were around to find a boy. Obviously, knowing that it was a big pair of shoes to try to intervene. And in that huge world, it is difficult to remember that you have your things you can bring inside.
“Your task is to adapt to the world and assimilate it, but it is also to improve it and bring any type of relationship that you may have to the character. It was something [director] Jake Schreier has constantly reminded me, which was beautiful.
“He authorized me in that way. He was asking how I connected to Bob, and there was a lot to relate to in this sense. I really found a kinship with this character.”
He did an excellent job in making Bob a real and recognizable boy, and I can’t wait to see how his story takes place Avengers: Doomsday When he arrives in cinemas on May 1, 2026.
