The retro trailer of this week is for the 1974 film by Hammer The legend of the 7 golden vampires A Horror Horror of Martial Arts Action that merges the Gothic atmosphere of hammer films with the talent of martial arts of Hong Kong cinema.
The story follows Professor Van Helsing, once again interpreted by Peter CushingWhile going to China to fight a cult of vampire centuries that terrify a rural village. These vampires, led by a resurrected count Dracula who assumed the form of a Chinese war gentleman, enrolled seven undead warriors, the golden vampires, to impose their kingdom of fear.
In collaboration with a gang of Kung Fu-Fighting brothers and a rich benefactor named Vanessa Buren, Van Helsing Wages War against the undead using both ancient knowledge and art of martial arts.
The film offers a fantastic East-Meets-West horror mix, merging Dracula Lore with frenetic action choreography for kind concession of Shaw Brothers Studios.
This is a fun movie that is worth watching if you’ve never seen it!
