Ryan Reynolds X-Men Project could be an X-Force movie

As we reported last week, Deadpool Star Ryan Reynolds It is already making brainstorming of a new Marvel Studios project and, although it will not be a traditional Deadpool film, there is a possibility that could be an X-Force movie.

In the initial relationship, we learned that Reynolds is developing a film in which Deadpool would have collaborated with characters of “Three or four” X-Men.

In particular, this film is not connected to X-Men Restart currently in the phase of written by Michael Lesslie. Instead, according to Reynolds reports, he is working independently of Marvel Studios, at least for now.

Regardless of the fact that it ends up becoming an official MCU project is still in the air, but given the success at the box office of Deadpool and Wolverine, Marvel would be intelligent in finding a way to make it happen.

So what exactly is working on? Well, according to the well -known @mytimetoshineh scooper, it could be X-Force.

It would not be a surprise for longtime fans. Reynolds has a story with the team and even played with an X-Force team in Deadpool 2.

Now, before the Disney-Fox merger, he had actively developed a X-Force Movies, and many hypothesized that he had died on the vine. Maybe not. Maybe now that idea is filling.

In comics, X-Force has always been the darker and most disordered counterpart for traditional X-Men. Think about them as the cutting cutting solution to the mutant problems that the X-Men would not touch.

THE Rick Remeder Run is a favorite of fans, in which Deadpool collaborated with Wolverine, Arcangel, Psychlocke and Fantomex to take on morally complex missions. That type of formation and arch of history could make a great film.

In December, Reynolds made fun of Deadpool’s future, saying:

“There are still no updates to share. But I trust Kevin and [Marvel exec] Lou d’Esposito with my life. The trait of the character I love most of Deadpool is that he is a fanboy. His enthusiasm and the desire to be part of a team are really captivating for me. It is its history of filling with general desire. “

But he made something else very clear:

“But I don’t think it should ever be a vindictor or an x-man. If it becomes either, we are in the end.”

And when asked if this means rejecting the main crossover films such as Avengers: Secret Wars, clarified:

“Just the opposite! I think Deadpool works so well with the X-Men and Avengers, but he always needs to remain a stranger. His final dream is to be accepted and appreciated. But he cannot be accepted.”

“Its coping mechanism of deflection of shame through humor works only when it is used to pavement for its numerous inadequateness. If and when it becomes an avenger or an X-Man, we are at the end of his journey.”

This idea seems to guide Reynolds the current creative approach. He wants Deadpool bounce from other characters, they do not lead the charge.

“I have a little shot and ideas, but none of them focus on Deadpool. He is a great support player or ensemble. And I would always like Deadpool and Wolverine to be coupled in some way.”

Which takes us back to X-Force. Like a piece of ensemble that leans on the angular and strangest side in the mutant world, it is the perfect playground for Deadpool chaos.

If Marvel sets it in the Multiverse, in a new continuity, or somewhere in the middle, it seems that Reynolds is carving out a space for a more mutant chaos, with some family faces, if it makes its way.

Want Hugh Jackman Stay long enough to join again? Will the team pull from a comic fee or will it make something completely new? Time will say it. But one thing is clear, if this is where Reynolds is directed later, the fans will presume.

Would you like to see an X-Force movie in the MCU? Who would be on the formation of your dreams?
