FX has released a new trailer and teaser poster for Noah Hawley’S Alien series Alien: earthand makes fun of the introduction of five invasive mortal alien species that come from the darkest corners of the universe. This is an element of the series that I have not seen coming and I am very enthusiastic about how it will adapt to history!
The series is set “Two years before the events of the 1979 film Alien In 2010, when five companies-profigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, dynamics and threshold exercise the power of nations and owner progress in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow. “
The series will find the characters “captured in a conflict with the beginning of artificial intelligence and the competition between developers and users”.
In the series: “When a mysterious spaceship crashes on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers makes a fateful discovery that puts them face to face with the greatest threat on the planet.
“While the members of the crew recovery crew seek survivors between the wrecks, meet mysterious predatory forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.
“With this new unlocked threat, the research crew must fight for survival and what they choose to do with this discovery could change the planet Earth as they know.”
Hawley previously said about the story: “It is set on the ground of the future. At this moment, I describe it as Edison against Westinghouse against Tesla. Someone is about to monopolize electricity. We simply don’t know what it is.”
He continued: “In movies, we have this Weyland-Yutani Corporation, which is clearly developing artificial intelligence, but what happens if there are other companies that try to look at immortality in a different way, with transhuman cyborg improvements or downloads? What of these technologies will you win?”
This series will be based “both the timeless horror of the first alien film with the non-stop action of the second, it will be a frightening thrill that will trace the people to their places.”
The series will arrive on FX this summer!
