Katie Holmes, 47, held hands with her boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky, 39, as the pair arrived together at the Calvin Klein New York Fashion Week show on Friday, marking their fashion week debut as a couple.
The Dawson's Creek actress smiled and giggled throughout the outing, while Yarmosky fully reciprocated the affection. At one point Holmes gave the New York City-born artist a loving look as they crossed the street toward the venue.
The couple coordinated their outfits for the occasion. Holmes wore a white button-down blouse over a flowing cream-hued skirt, while Yarmosky wore an off-white jumper with pin-striped trousers.
A Fast-Moving Romance
Holmes has long been a familiar presence at New York Fashion Week, but this is the first time she has attended with Yarmosky as her partner. Two days earlier, on Wednesday, she was seen putting her arms around him at Cult Gaia's show.
"They've become close pretty quickly," a source told People. "Katie feels very comfortable with him. She's having a lot of fun. They really enjoy spending time together and had an amazing summer."
The couple made their relationship Instagram official on September 1, when Holmes described her boyfriend as "the best of the best" in a birthday post. On September 7, she shared a carousel of photos from a romantic vacation to Italy, also posted by Yarmosky on his own social media. The images showed Holmes taking in scenic views, hiking with Yarmosky, and kissing him.
How the Relationship Began
Holmes was first linked to Yarmosky in June, with speculation growing after she arrived hand-in-hand with him at a July screening of Olivia Wilde's film The Invite. Another audience member at the screening told People that Yarmosky was whispering in Holmes' ear and she was laughing, adding that the two "seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night." The source said the pair sat together during the movie, with Holmes resting her head on his shoulder at one point.
After the Calvin Klein show, Holmes continued her run of appearances by attending the Gemma Chan x Bloomingdale's x Cultured Dinner.
Holmes' Dating History
This marks Holmes' first public relationship since she dated Bobby Wooten III for less than a year in 2022. Before that, she was in a six-year relationship with Jamie Foxx following the end of her marriage to Tom Cruise, with whom she shares 20-year-old daughter Suri.
Back in 2016, Holmes was asked by a reporter how she planned to approach dating after her divorce from Cruise. "That's not something I want to answer," she said, according to ET. "[I don't] have a five or 10-year plan. I feel like I'm still a teenager in a lot of ways. I do a lot of things I did then. I paint, I color. I cook sometimes. I still feel like a girl. I don't quite feel like a woman, maybe because I'm the baby of my family. I'll probably be 90 and feel like, 'Not a woman yet' Ha!"
