First drawing of the characters of Adam Warlock for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 revealed

Before Adam Warlock took place in the heart of the Marvel fans Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 With oro -plated swagger and embarrassing naivety, the character has almost taken a very different visual path.

The Constantine Sekeris concept artist has recently shared some initial concept art that offer a look at how Marvel Studios was wrapping with Warlock’s design before landing on what we have seen on the screen.

Sekeris shared the designs through social media, giving fans a heavier iteration of Warlock, complete with helmet and supreme fleet suit below. According to Sekeris:

“Hi, everything ……. A minute from the last time he published anything … to be a break from Wolfman’s sketches and publish some first design by Adam Warlock for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 Working at Marvel Studios in Vis Dev Lead by Andy Park….

“This design is more than a spatial suit that would have a helmet … he would have a basic uniform of the supreme fleet suits underneath and form an ontop spatial when he flew in space …….

“Really funny character to give life to

The final version we obtained was a more simplified approach, visually echoing the aesthetic of the sovereign while leaning on the embarrassing transition of Warlock from the lethal weapon to the confused guardian. And while the representation of Will Poulter ended up hitting the right balance between threat and knowledge in the dark, it is fascinating to see that the team has almost given him a more militarized and armored look.

Warlock also had a little more time on the screen. An eliminated scene that emerged after the digital release of the film takes a look at a much darker version of the character.

In it, Sovereign High Priestess Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) becomes more and more exasperated when his son cannot wipe out the guardians. Warlock, always the obedient son (and a little deranged), makes a chilling promise: revenge at any cost.

The scene begins with a little trampling and extravagant, and things range from the disorder to the territory that has done evil with the wizard urinating on the bodies … and yes, a rapid deviation in necrophilia. Not exactly Disney-friendly.

It is not difficult to understand why that didn’t get to cinemas.
