Dark Sky Films has published the trailer of a horror folk film out of the release entitled The Severded Sun, and focused on an isolated religious community terrified by the arrival of a mysterious beast.
The cut sunny “In the heart of an isolated religious community, the shepherd delivers his fervent sermons to a devoted congregation is set. But the Dark Fester secrets. In the depths of the forest, the shepherd’s daughter, Magpie, undertakes a desperate action, ending the life of her abusive husband.
“He does not know much, his murder will trigger a malicious force: a mysterious beast with glittering white eyes. While the weeks pass, suspicion and paranoia granted the community, with accusatory fingers aimed at Magpie.
“The shepherd struggles to restore the faith in a decrease in Magpie and is unable to bring it back to the” truth “. The faith is fragile and magpy is intent on rebelling against his father’s hypocrisy.
“When the beast leaves a trail of gruesome carnage, a brutal witches hunting turns on. In this compelling story of faith, fear and darkness inside, the friendships crumble, the laltàs are tested and the community curls towards self -destruction.”
The film comes from the writer and director Dean Puckett Make debut with his movie and play Emma Appleton (The Witcher) ,, Toby Stephens (Lost in space) ,, Jodhi May (Silent twins) ,, Lewis Gribben (T2 Trainspotting) ,, Barney Harris (The wheel of time) ,, Oliver Maltman (Another year), AND James Swanton (The first omen, Stopmotion)
